The company was founded in 1965 by Martin Spedito as an individual firm composed of only one person.
He first started his activity in the blowing field on behalf of other companies, by producing plastic containers , toy components and technical items.
Later on, on behalf of important car manufacturers, he focused his activity on the production of cases for portable road signs.

In 1975 a customer, who was also a road-sign supplier at that time, suggested Mr Spedito to approach also this field. On the basis of this suggestion the company began to produce plastic roadside.

In 1985 Mr Martin's sons joined him and the company kept on growing until it became an Ltd.
A further gradual productive and technical improvement has been taking place over the years.
Main companies have relied on Martin Plastic for more and more delicate and specialized technical production.
Among these a big company which manufactures items and toys for babies has committed to Martin Plastic the production of blowed and shaped/moulded components of toy cars and motorbikes. Martin Plastic counts among its customers an important firm which produces competition karts and which is leader in this field and outstanding as far as sport is concerned.

Thanks to its growing experience and to its technical improvement Martin Plastic has "conquered" numerous clients in some years. Among these a company supplying seats for stadia/sport grounds and sport buildings, which are also exported abroad (France, Portugal, Poland and Germany). Among its clients Martin Plast counts many public body suppliers in the sign field in European Comunity.

Martin Plastic's aim is to meet better and better the needs and requests of the market, thanks to a constant and regular control and a critical analyses of its activities, thanks to the updating of its collaborators' professional skills and to the technologically regularly updated machines. Since 2006 Martin Plastic has bought injection presses in order to further supply those clients who required an assembly of blowed and shaped/moulded items.
